Together, we explored the theme “Postvention: Best Practices for Community Helpers, First Responders, and Educators to Respond and Support After a Suicide Loss.” Dr. David J. Schonfeld inspired us with his insights on navigating grief and crisis, City of Coachella Mayor Steven Hernandez spoke with guests providing support, while powerful personal stories highlighted the importance of connection. Participants engaged in valuable breakout sessions, gaining practical tools and resources that will help us strengthen our community's mental health support systems.
