International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day
Date: Nov 22 , 2025
Time: 9:00 am
Please join us for International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, (November 22, 2025, from 9am-1pm, held virtually), a special virtual gathering hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Each year, AFSP supports hundreds of Survivor Day events around the world to bring together those who have lost someone to suicide. This day offers a compassionate space to find connection, understanding, and hope through shared experience. Our virtual event will include the viewing of an AFSP-produced documentary that highlights personal stories of growth, resilience, and healing. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with others through guided discussions and moments of reflection.
The goals of Survivor Day are to:
- Provide a sense of connection with others who have experienced suicide loss
- Create space to remember and honor the person or people we’ve lost
- Foster hope and healing through shared understanding
- Whether your loss is recent or long ago, you are welcome here. Together, we honor our loved ones and support one another on the path toward healing.
- Non-Loss Survivors may also register to attend.
